The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Years Old forms part of their Sherry Oak range which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity.
Tasting notes:
Colour: Dark mahogany.
Nose: Honeyed figs and dates with hints of caramelised pineapple and chocolate orange.
Palate: Rich fruit cake and prunes with stem ginger, cinnamon and orange essence leading to gentle toasted oak.
Finish: Long and rich with oak, spice and orange.
